Lug Style Butterfly Valves

Categories

Threaded inserts are integrated into the valve body. This allows bolting between flanges with downstream piping removal without disturbing the upstream connection.

A butterfly valve with lug-type end connections, designed for dead-end service and simplified line maintenance. Chemical processing, wastewater treatment, and fire protection systems. These systems require isolation of a section without full shutdown. Lug-style body enables isolation of downstream piping while the valve remains in place. Full system drain-down during maintenance is eliminated. Available in concentric, double eccentric, or triple offset designs. Metal-seated and soft-seated options available. Long neck, extended stem, and locking arrangement are optional for customized requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a lug type butterfly valve differ from a wafer type?

Unlike a lug butterfly valve, which can be bolted from either side, you can explore the wafer butterfly valve for lightweight, between-flange installations.

Can lug style butterfly valves be used for dead-end service?

Yes, the design of a lug type butterfly valve allows for downstream piping removal while keeping the upstream side under pressure, providing excellent operational flexibility.

What design standards do you follow?

Every lug type butterfly valve is designed and manufactured in accordance with API 609, ensuring global compatibility and safety.

What flange standards are supported?

The mounting ends are compliant with ASME B16.5, making them compatible with most standard industrial piping systems worldwide.

Why choose us as your lug butterfly valve supplier?

As an experienced lug butterfly valve supplier, we provide comprehensive technical support, API 598 testing, and a vast range of material certifications.
